When You’re Applying Liquid Foundation, Always Give It Enough Time to Set Before Applying Powder - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Here's something that helps when I use liquid foundation: ya gotta requite information technology fourth dimension. Always give it enough time to set earlier you bound in with pulverization, so like iv or 5 minutes, because if your foundation is still wet when you apply your pulverisation, all sorts of terrible, horrible, frightening things happen…

OK, non really. Only sort of. 🙂 The pulverisation won't apply evenly, because the moisture areas will collect more of it, and that's not nifty.

Some other happy side outcome of waiting until your foundation sets is that it'southward easier to gauge your coverage. If I only layer all willy-nilly, and simply keep edifice my foundation upwards in layers while each layer is still kind of wet, I can't gauge how much coverage I actually accept, and I end upwards in Cake Face Town.

Because ix times out of x I like to wear every bit little foundation equally possible, I'll apply my first layer, and so wait for it to set up. Then it's piece of cake to tell if (and where) I need to add together more than.

Only some other hopefully heartache-saving tip I learned the hard way.
